The Dungeon Crawl

Welcome to the Power Card page!
This page will host power cards created by myself, and also by others if I find any that I like. As new content is created in Dragon (and possibly dungeon) as well as other supplements, I will add them to the list at right. When I have completed creating a set, the name will be linked to the file. Usually I will wait until the compiled version of Dragon is posted at the end of each month as there are usually changes to the articles.
UPDATE:
I have decided to go exclusively with Ander00's set of cards. From now on I will only be making cards with his set. The main reason for this was, while some of the other sets were prettier, They had much smaller areas in which I could write the To Hit and damage, etc. I put these in card sleeves and use an Expo dry erase to write my current numbers on the card. I can then erase the numbers and put new ones on when appropriate. I used to type them into MSE on the other cards, then realized I had to reprint them every time I went up a level. That was annoying.
Also I have changed how I make the set. By that I mean as opposed to the old method where I did each class/power set as it's own set of cards, I am doing full issues of Dragon and books as its own set of cards. This prompted me to redo several sets as, unfortunately, you cannot merge sets in MSE.
The old links will stay up.

Best Use for Card Images
I know not everyone will have the means to do so, but what I do when printing out the cards is use Adobe Illustrator. I make a grid using guidelines to be able to print 9 cards to a page. I insert an image, resize it to be 2.5"x3.5" (the size of a playing card) and arrange them on the page. This allows me to cut them out without any white around the edges (as you would have to do with the print outs from the MSE program I provided as PDF files) as standard size cards to fit into card sleeves.
Someone from the Living Forgotten Realms Yahoo group sent me this tip for printing Card Images and getting them to be card size (this works in Windows):
These cards were made using the Magic Set Editor with the card style designs by Ander and Hirohito from the ENWorld boards. If you would like to get a copy of the Magic Set Editor, see the useful links above.
The Power Cards use symbols in the upper left and right corners to provide a quick glance of the action type and the effect type. Below are the symbols and what the mean. If the Hirohito style uses a symbol differently it will be listed in parenthesis.

Here's what you're looking for! Remember that once the powers/classes/races/etc. are released in an official product (if ever) they may have changed drastically. Always make sure you are using the most recent version!

MSE Files
Here are the files needed to view the cards in the MSE program, including the MSE Data set I use which is an altered version of Ander's set. Ander's MSE card sets open just fine with my altered data set. Just unzip the contents of the file to the root folder of MSE.
